Remote and Off-Grid
Rural and remote communities often face challenges in accessing safe drinking water.
LifeSaver offers a range of portable and large scale water purification solutions for remote communities. Our solutions have helped provide many communities from Jakarta to Jamaica with purified drinking water, whilst at the same time often saving many hours of walking to fetch water and reducing the use of single use plastics.
The LifeSaver products best suited to rural communities such as schools, medical facilities, remote workforces and off-grid living are the LifeSaver C2, C1, Jerrycan and Cube.
LifeSaver Jerrycan
Our best selling product. The LifeSaver Jerrycan has a sturdy construction and will fit into most standard jerrycan holders for vehicles. It has a capacity 18.5 litres and is able to purify up to 20,000 litres on one cartridge .
The Lifesaver Jerrycan exceeds full National Sanitation Foundation NSF P248 ‘Military Operations Microbiological Water Purifiers’ protocol set by the US Department of Defense Public Health Center (MEDCOM). This is the toughest testing process globally.
LifeSaver C2
The C2 is LifeSaver’s largest water purification solution. It has a capacity of 750 litres with the ability to purify up to 1 million litres of water on a cartridge set.
The LifeSaver C2 is ideal for remote communities, schools or agricultural environments and is capable of supporting a community of around 300 people. Robust and easy to install and like the rest of the LifeSaver product range, they require no chemicals or electricity.
The Cube
The LifeSaver Cube purifies up to 5,000 litres of water and is ergonomically designed to be easy to handle and transport. It is popular with familes for camping and hiking as well as with the hunting and fishing crowd. It is also a great purifier for the home for everyday use or as a back up to when the water system is unreliable.
The LifeSaver Cube was originally designed with our partner Oxfam as a disaster response solution, with each Cube providing up to 5,000 litres of pure water for a family of four. Today, we are still delivering the LifeSaver Cube into some of the world's most challenging disaster zones.
