Activated Carbon Filters don't make your water any safer, but they do remove unpleasant tastes and smells, heavy metals and chemicals. The carbon filters in your LifeSaver Jerrycan filter up to 500 litres of water, so will need replacing much more often than the ultrafiltration cartridge. You'll know when the carbon needs changing simply from the taste. Our video shows you how quick and easy it is to do.

Always remove the carbon disc from your Bottle while it's in storage. They are made from a natural material which will start to decompose if left damp for an extended period of time.
