How to keep yourself hydrated whilst out and about
In the summer months, it’s really important to stay hydrated. Our body is made up of two thirds water, so our body has to constantly try and maintain these levels and stay refreshed and healthy. If your body isn’t hydrated then you can start to suffer from adverse symptoms such as headaches, dizziness and nausea. Staying hydrated is an important part of keeping fit, healthy and improving your long and short term health and wellbeing. Most people live fast-paced, busy lives and it can be tricky to always make sure that you stay hydrated, but here at Icon LifeSaver, we think it’s one of the most important parts of the day. We’ve put together some tips to help you stay hydrated whilst you’re out and about.
LifeSaver bottle
One of our most popular products is our LifeSaver bottle. It’s a portable water filter that keeps your water clean and drinkable. We’re confident that we’ve helped to provide a practical, functional product that means that you’ll always be aware that drinking water is paramount. Taking a bottle with you to work is a great way of ensuring that you keep yourself hydrated, especially if you’re undertaking task that take a lot of physical effort. Even when you’re sitting at a desk and not using a lot of physical energy, you still need to keep hydrated in order to stay mentally stimulated.
If you keep a bottle in your car, it means that the ability to stay properly hydrated will travel with you wherever you go. The stylish, functional LifeSaver bottle serves as a constant reminder of the need to stay hydrated and healthy.
Alarms
You need to keep hydrated throughout the day, so drinking a lot of water in the morning and then nothing for the rest of the day isn’t enough to keep you sufficiently hydrated. If you put alarms on your phone at certain times of the day then you can make sure that you don’t forget to drink enough water.
Variety
While drinking water is the best source of liquid you can drink to stay hydrated, it’s also not the only way of doing it. Fruit juices and hot drinks like herbal tea are all other ways to keep hydrated and can be added into your hydration schedule. Eating food can also keep you hydrated, especially meals that incorporate fruits and vegetables, which have natural sources of hydration.
Keeping hydrated is essential and an important part of staying fit and healthy. Our LifeSaver bottles are great way to remind you to drink and make you want to keep hydrated.
