The LifeSaver Liberty™ water purifier bottle is the worlds first and only portable water purifier which is a bottle with an inline pump combined.
Using the same advanced purification technology as the original LifeSaver Bottle, the LifeSaver Liberty™ water purifier bottle is a smaller, lighter more versatile version, whilst still robust and easy to use. You can use it to carry water ready for purifying or pump purified water into another container making it ideal for couples. What does the LifeSaver Liberty do?
It transforms water from rivers, lakes, streams and - if you're desperate - muddy puddles, into safe drinking water. It does this through two stages of filtration:
- The Liberty Ultrafiltration Cartridge removes:
- Viruses - 99.999%
- Bacteria - 99.9999%
- Cysts - 99.99%
- Microplastics - 99.99%
- The Activated Carbon Filter reduces heavy metals and chemicals including as chlorine, lead, nickel and cadmium, improving taste and odour along the way
How big is the LifeSaver Liberty?
It's about the same size as a regular water bottle:
- Dimensions: 80 x 80 x 254mm (3.15 x 3.15 x 10 inches)
- Dry Weight: 425 grams (15oz)
- Capacity: 400ml (14 fl oz)
- Purifies up to 2,000 litres
- Fast flow rate - 1.2 l/min
What does the LifeSaver Liberty come with?
- One replaceable filter cartridge, capable of purifying 2000 litres of water sourced from lakes, rivers or streams (pre-installed)
- One replaceable Activated Carbon Disc, for chemical and heavy metal reduction as well as removing bad taste and odour, effective for up to 100 litres
- One 5ft Scavenger Hose for drawing water directly from the source, meaning:
- Easier accessibility to water
- No need to get hands (or feet) wet
- Purify larger volumes of water in one go by pumping straight into additional containers (including hydration bladders)
- One storage pouch for the hose and spare carbons
How safe is the LifeSaver Liberty?
- Independently tested to exceed full NSF/ANSI P231 and WHO2011 ‘Highly protective tier’ drinking water standards
- FailSafe technology - Once the filter membranes are blocked, water can not pass through, keeping users safe
- Water is still safe to consume without an Activated Carbon Disc installed
- Product materials and water effluent both BPA and BPS free
What else do I need to know?
- Screws right into most wide-mouth water containers, like Nalgene or Hydro Flask bottles
- Replaceable filter cartridge has a shelf life of 3 to 5 years from date of purchase - indefinite once primed and stored correctly
