LifeSaver C1 Off-Grid Water Purifier
If you're looking for an economical, sustainable, whole-house water purification system to transform your private water supply into safe drinking water, you'll find the LifeSaver C1 Off-Grid Water Purifier offers the ideal solution.
The LifeSaver C1 can purify up to 500,000 litres of harvested rainwater or water sourced from rivers, springs or boreholes. The only requirement is a pressure of at least 0.2 Bar (2.85 PSI), which is easily achieved by connecting the C1 to an overhead water storage tank or waterbutt (at least 2m above the C1). With this amount of pressure, all the user needs to do is turn the tap to release a strong flow of safe drinking water, making off the grid homes truly self-sufficient.
Trusted Purification Technology
The replaceable filter membranes used inside the C1 are the same as those found in all our high-performance purifiers, and will protect users from microbiological contaminants - viruses, bacteria, and protozoa (parasites). The C1 delivers huge volumes of safe drinking water, whilst still being compact and lightweight enough to mount indoors on a countertop, and robust enough to survive outside or in an outbuilding.

-
Failsafe - an automatic indicator when the cartridge needs replacing - once the membranes are blocked, water can no longer pass through, keeping users safe
- Product materials and water effluent are both BPA- and BPS-free
Who is the LifeSaver C1 for?
The C1 is for any off-grid property that relies on a private water supply - from family homes and farmhouses to smallholdings and communities. Using no power or chemicals and producing no wastewater, it offers an eco-conscious, sustainable alternative to UV and Reverse Osmosis purification methods.
What else do I need to know?
- Requires very little maintenance - simply clean the filter cartridge once a year
- Depending on the source and quality of your water, you may want to add pre-filters to your system; a sediment filter will remove sand, silt and organic matter (extending the life of your C1), and an activated carbon filter will improve the taste and smell of your water. You may also have chemical or heavy metal contaminants that would need to be removed. We recommend getting your water tested so you can decide exactly which pre-filters are needed.
- Multiple C1 units can be daisy-chained together, running from the same source, multiplying the output
